Can You Install Spy Software Without Having Access to the Phone?

The answer, of course, is no. You need physical access to their phone to install spy software. On Android, this is done using the phone’s browser, and on iOS, this is done through Cydia or iCloud.
Once installed, you can spy on their cell phone remotely, without having to touch the phone again.
In most cases, remote installation is not possible. This, however, does not include hackers and scammers out there that attempt to install mobile malware or backdoor programs that gave the attackers control of the victims’ mobile devices. I am only talking about commercial spy software that you can purchase online.
Even if technically possible, a legitimate spy software company will not provide “remote installation” service to their users. It is a federal and state offense in most countries to remote install spy software onto a phone which you do not have proper authorization to install.
There are definitely legitimate reasons for using mobile spy software. You can use it to monitor employees activities while using company-issued phones. You can also use it to locate your lost or stolen phone, or even as a way to monitor your kids cell phone use. However, you should never install it on a phone that you do not own. Although some spy software companies promote their software as a way to catch cheating spouses, you should be aware that doing so is technically illegal.
I know there are many websites out there claiming that you can spy on an iPhone without jail breaking it and without having access to it using iCloud, but this is false. Even if those iCloud spy programs worked as they were supposedly intended, you’d still need to have physical access to the phone in order to enable iCloud Backup.
Bottom line, without having access to the target phone, you can’t really install a spy software on it.

So what can you do? Sorry to say, all you can do is find a way to get access to their phone. You can do any of the following:
1. Hey, can I borrow your phone for a minute? You can ask to borrow his phone because your battery is about 0%, or because you want to make a call or download a new game. Then, find a place where you can be alone for a few minutes.
2. Another option is to purchase a compatible phone, install a spy app on the phone, and give as a gift. This will give you enough time to test and verify that everything is working as expected.
How long does it take to install a cell phone spy software?
The cell phone spy software is available on iOS and Android platforms. The installation process is different for each platform. The installation time depends on the speed of your internet connection and what software you are using & what operating system you are working on. The approximate installation time is 5 – 25 minutes. Here are my test results:
- Non-Rooted Android Phone – 5 minutes to install Highster Mobile.
